Class Descriptions

Barre & Bench

Instructor: Sarah

Barre & Bench is a fusion class. This new format barre incorporates cardio and strength work using a bench (step). The bench will elevate strength work as well as increase the heart rate for a more cardio focused class. Unlike traditional step classes that can be complex step choreography, the bench segments of this class are simple in format for all fitness levels. Blending in Barre for strength benefits to provide the perfect fusion of strength, muscle conditioning & heart rate lifting cardio.

Barre

Barre is a low impact strength workout that enhances your muscle tone, posture, flexibility and confidence!

 

Barre blends ballet, pilates, functional strength, mobility and flexibility flow. 

 

Barre incorporates small isolated movement to fatigue the muscles, large range motion to elevate the heart rate, and sequencing that incorporates upper and lower body to make every minute count.

Bootcamp

Instructor: Lindsey

Bootcamp is a circuit based class that uses strength, power and cardio exercises all combined in one. This class is designed to keep your heart rate high while also working on different muscle groups. Bootcamp is a higher intensity class that can be modified to accommodate most fitness levels.

Gentle Yoga

Instructor: Anna

Gentle yoga is a gentler style of hatha yoga practice. It is performed at a slower pace, with less intense positions, and usually includes extended time for meditation, yogic breath work, and relaxation. A gentle class usually includes more warm up movements and the yoga postures are often held for longer times. Modifications are done to help people of all fitness levels enjoy the benefits of yoga without putting themselves at risk for injuries. There is a stronger emphasis on stretching, seated poses and low-impact movements in these classes.

Chiseled

Instructor: Emily

Chiseled is a high-energy interval workout that involves heart-pumping, powerful boxing combinations, sculpting and lengthening movements. In classes you wear weighted gloves to add extra resistance!

Kick

Kick is a mix of cardio strength and endurance in a HIIT style format which can be modified for any fitness level!

POUND ®

Instructor : Emily

Instead of listening to music, you become the music in this exhilarating full-body workout that combines cardio, conditioning, and strength training with yoga and pilates-inspired movements.

 

Using Ripstix, lightly weighted drumsticks engineered specifically for exercising, POUND transforms drumming into an incredibly effective way of working out.

Designed for all fitness levels, POUND provides the perfect atmosphere for letting loose, getting energized, toning up and rockin’ out! The workout is easily modifiable and the alternative vibe and  welcoming philosophy appeals to men and women of all ages and abilities.

Sculpt

Sculpt is a total body conditioning workout that is hyper focused on toning. Get ready for a fresh, dynamic way to work out! Adding extra weight, resistance equipment to hard-core circuit training techniques for a total-body workout designed to burn maximum fat. 

Modifications available for all levels, beginners to advanced.

Step

Step with Sarah is a new twist on traditional step aerobics. Routines are set to old and new school hip hop music making for a high energy cardio workout. 

 

Step is a full body aerobic workout that is fun and addicting!​ Whether you are just starting out your fitness journey or are looking to shake up your cardio, this class is for you!  

 

Modifications for beginners or those with injuries. Advance steps for those looking to level up! 

 

No experience necessary, for all fitness levels & ages.

STRONG Nation ®

Instructor : Emily

Strong Nation combines body weight, muscle conditioning, cardio and plyometric training moves synced to original music that has been specifically designed to match every single move. Every squat, every lunge, every burpee is driven by the music, helping you make it to that last rep, and maybe even five more.

In each class you'll burn calories while toning arms, legs, abs and glutes. Plyometric or explosive moves like high knees, burpees, and jumping jacks are interchanged with isometric moves like lunges, squats, and kickboxing. STRONG Nation™ instructors change up the music and moves frequently to make sure you’re always challenged to the max.

This efficient and focused class helps you fit fitness into any schedule.

Total Body

Using timed cardio and strength intervals with dumbbells and your own body weight you will build muscle, increase endurance & flexibility and rev up your metabolism! All ages and abilities welcome. Modifications offered to make the workout more challenging or less.

WERQ ®

Instructor : Lauren

WERQ is the wildly addictive cardio dance class based on trending pop and hip hop music.

 

WERQ is a pre-choreographed workout with new routines made available weekly. 

 

WERQ routines are built to learn while doing and following the instructor’s cues. The moves repeat many times, so that you get a chance to do them again and again without having to stop and break down any moves.

 

WERQ Instructors use a unique cueing method to direct you seamlessly into the next move.

 

WERQ is a rapid-fire class to get a high calorie burn, so expect to move a lot while following the instructor’s cues. Many people report that after the third class, they catch on more quickly and get an even better WERQout.

Zumba ®

Zumba is the class that started the dance-fitness revolution and changed the way we look at a “workout” forever. It’s fun, effective and best of all? Made for everyone!

Zumba combines Latin and international music with dance moves. A total workout, combining all elements of fitness – cardio, muscle conditioning, balance and flexibility, boosted energy and a serious dose of awesome each time you leave class.
